Help. Skimmer stopped bubbling

Hi. I was installing another piece of equipment and some chaeto got stuck to the inlet of my reef octo 110sss. I removed it. But now no bubbles are coming from my skimmer. I dial it and the water levels go up and down in the neck of the skimmer but can not get it to bubble. When I press my finger on the inlet of the pump I get some bubbles but then it stops.

Check the Venturi tube is it clogged too?

Sounds like a good excuse to pull the skimmer and give it a good cleaning

Agreed, I think you need to take the pump apart and clean it

Yep more than likely the air Venturi is blocked

Thanks all. Pulled skimmer and put in vinegar bath. Still the same. Then took some stuff apart and a wad of chaeto came out. Now it’s working properly and running in an overnight vinegar bath.
