Hello. My chalice woke up looking like this overnight.. I found this snail next to it and was wondering if he could be the culprit?? the chalice is bare skeleton in those spots, no tissue left.. any ideas?

theres several hundreds of wentletrap snails, some of value, if you are gonna kill it instead of sumping, might as well keep the shell, interesting trophy if anyhing

Very cool. The word wentletrap means staircase. Wentletraps are small, often white, very high-spired, territorial and preditory of snails, mollusks and gastropods.
