Help! Something is spamming my tank,what are they

The first picture is something like a reef but growing allover my tank

The second picture is spamming on the glass surface

What are they and how to get rid of them?

Pic 1 aiptasia......a pest anemone

Pic 2 spiorbid worms...... good filter feeder but can be annoying in new tanks.

Aiptasia can be a pain to get rid of but you want to start removing them NOW or they wI'll take over your tank. There are hundreds of posts on this site on methods of eradication so a simple search will help you.

Don't worry about the worms.

My go-to for aiptasia/mojano anemone removal is a syringe filled with boiling water. About 10ml at the base of each will cook them where they sit. If you attempt to scrape them off, any small bits will become a new anemone.

It may take several weeks to get them all, but if you keep at it you can get them all that way. I would try not to kill too many at once - you might see a rise in ammonia/nitrates if you do. I would also suggest running some carbon to remove any toxins they might release.

Updates:

Today I took all the hardscape rocks out and boil them with hot water.Hundreds of aiptasia body were found and I scratch them off the rocks. Too nasty so I didn't took any photos of them. Finally the tank looks good again!

You want to be careful boiling live rock, the fumes coming off can be toxic. Hopefully nothing bad happened.
