Hello everyone, I recently bought a rodi for my 40gal, but after I replaced these 4 units the pressure valve stopped working and this resin unit always has half-full water in it, can anyone help? The water that comes out from it is 14 TDS and I am using a booster pump, there still isn't much clean water coming out. I am using

CDP 8800 Pressure Boost Pump with the

SpectraPure MaxCap 90 GPD Manual Flush RO/DI System

Thanks!

The resin container having air in it doesn't matter. You can loosen the bottom and let it out or leave it. Water enters the outer cannister and then goes in the bottom of the inner one and exits. This always traps some air in the outer cannister.
Did you change membranes? Maybe the new one didn't seat right.

It should be pre filter 5 micron in #1 canister that goes to carbon in #2 canister then to your RO before it goes to #3 which is the DI resin. WNVed is correct you can bleed the air out by loosening it ..

but what do you mean the pressure valve stopped working?

Make sure the manual flush valve (black) is closed. Really no need to even use this unless you really want to. You say your water has 14 tds but not sure you mean the final product water or at some other stage. If I'm looking at the correct RO unit on their site, then position 1 is the tap tds, 2 is the ro tds and 3 is the final product water tds. To really know if the RO unit is functioning correctly, we would need all three tds numbers.

Yes I did changed the membrane and I tried to let it start with full water but the water comes out and stops at the half level, I will go and check it again, thanks.
