I just got a 4" sting ray and it has sores on its back from Saturday night untill today. What can I do to help it. Any dips? Melifix? I want to make sure he heals good

Thank you only other fish in the tank with it is a blue hippo, yellow tang, and yellow goby with blue spotsOh, that doesn't look good. I don't know anything about treating rays... maybe the #mods can move this to the fish disease forum for more views?

Just within 2 day? Just like thatIt's probably an issue with substrate and or flukes.
No looked healthy when purchased, I had a frag rack with 90 degree corners and I took it out i don't know if that could have done it to him? I hope not I feel bad already for him.Did he have these sores when you got him? Those almost look like chunks taken out of him.

Rays have delicate skin - which some other fish will nip at.
What were his tankmates, again?
