whats your nitrate reading? zero?

You might be better off dipping in Coral RX as it looks more like bacteria to me.

that, or just put it in more flow and set a turbo snail on it

Sadly it still has yet to recover and is remains closed .

@saltyfilmfolks has this brown/green zoa algea been identified with a proven cure. I’m starting to have this issue with only two plugs and the zoas are from a previous tank that I’ve had for 2 years with no issues to date. I also dipped in a strong bayer mix for 15min. I’m starting to see a trend of this happening in newer reefs maybe this is a Dino or similar?

That , IMO , was not the issue.
The algae was a symptom.

I would give it light.

Leave it alone... enough of trying so many dipping methods.
It's gonna be ok.
Forget about it for a while and it will recover...
I don't understand why people think zoas need so many dips...
