Hello!
My husband recently upgraded a waterbox 70ish to a 220. It’s really only a week or two old. He is out of town and I accidentally knocked half a container of pellet food into the tank…
My son and I cleaned out as much as we could. But after a few hours the tank water is cloudy. I know that’s expected eventually with a new tank, but should I be concerned? Did the extra food just speed up the cycling process? Coincidence? I am not the reefer in the house but I know that much food is not good. But I’m not entirely sure what to do. Any help is so appreciated!

Agree with the others. Take a deep breath. No harm, no foul. Worst case scenario is that you do a couple of water changes right before you add your fishy friends if your nutrients are too high.
