I'll start off by saying I love my Sps and am freaking out and no can seem to figure this out I recently replaced my light from an 8 bulb nova to an 8 bulb tek 10in above the water and changed my sump and skimmer from a 65 coralife and 10 gal sump to a 25 gal sump and reef octopus 110. After I did that the next day my candy Caines were dead orange digitata, blue stag, stylo all looked like they were melting and then pure white under obviously I know they are dead but I cannot figure out why here are the parameters
Alk-11
Cal-400
Ph-8.0
Phosphate-2.0( I think this is kind of high)
Iodine-0.25
This is a 72 gallon bowfront mixed reef 110lb tonga rock 6 fish also I did use silicone and glue to put baffles in the same way I did my old sump and this didn't happen then.
Please I need help I do not want any more of my coral to die I put a bag of carbon in to pull out if any "bad stuff" in the water
