Hi all!
So i bought my first saltwater tank (and first tank for around 15 years), a RedSea Max Nano (75L). While waiting for it to be transported from France to Denmark I am trying to plan what to put in it.
The end goal is a mixed reef tank, but for the first couple of months just fish and inverts, and I would really like some help stocking it since there is a ton of conflicting information out there (and I’m a newbie to this).
Here is a list of first fish, and then inverts that I like
Fish
Six line Wrasse
Royal gramma
Orchid dottyback
Flame hawkfish
Tailspot blenny
Madagascar Spotted Croucher Goby
Wheelers shrimp goby
Exquisite Firefish
Neon Blue Goby

Inverts
nassarius snails
Hermit craps
Brittle star
Tuxedo urchin
Pistol shrimp Only if i go with af shrimp goby)
Cleaner/red fire shrimp
Trochus snails
Giant clam (Down the line)
Coral shrimp

I am in no way planning on putting it all in, but I need some help in terms of what goes well together, how much i can put in it, and maybe some good alternatives. I would like at least one free swimming fish, but as you can see it’s a lot of bottom dwellers .
The only fish I am dead set on is the tailspot blenny.
I like the orchid dottyback a lot, but I’m afraid that it’s gonna hide most of the time.
Hope you can help me out a bit.
Best!
Niklas

Six lines are evil so don’t get that, lol.
most of those fish are pretty reclusive so maybe think of a few more active fish to put in the mix.

If you like the look of 6 line but don't like the serial killer part a pink streak wrasse or one of the possum wrasses might be a good alternative.

I would't trust a hawkfish with smaller inverts let alone the neon blue gobies but another smaller and peaceful alternative would be Plectranthias inermis- technically a anthias that just evolved to be exactly like a tiny peaceful hawkfish.

Dottybacks are pretty well known to be punks as well so maybe another to reconsider if your going for a peaceful community.

The croucher goby is a type of scorpionfish and is extremely cryptic to the point where often they need to be spot fed so if your ok with keeping up with that a few times a week and you can accept that they could also bother some sps corals if you choose to go down that path then you should be fine.
