Hey all, I've had my tank running for around 7 months now & haven't been able to get rid of this brown algae, mostly on the sand bed & partly on the rocks. I have a few dead corals die due to algae growing on them including two scolys & one torch head. Some of my other corals like hammers aren't opening up fully either. I've tried increasing flow, changing lighting & increasing/reducing feeding. Nothing seems to work, would appreciate any help!

Can you post white light photos please?

Also, post all water parameters.

Which nutrient is at zero? Phosphates or nitrates?

What test kits are you using, and what CUC do you have?

Apex Trident & Hanna Instruments. CUC - nassarius, trochus & cerith snail. I may need to get more as some have climbed out of the tank & died

that's good to consider as an option because your invasion is very very light, not much work would be needed to curb it at this stage.
