Hi Guys,

Please see attached photo. I am running 4 SKYS over a 7ftx 3ft tank. I am getting good growth with the lights, but the pop and coral color is underwhelming. My QT tank with a black box light makes the coral look better than the sky.

Does anyone have good solutions for supplemental light that will easily attach to the eco-tech rail. I would like to keep it looking, clean as possible as I do not have a hood to cover the lights.

Thanks in advanced!

If you want to mount AI Blades between the sky’s I have these brackets that will work. Maybe use a few ai blade glow?

I have plenty of spread and PAR.

Of course but maybe what they also meant is change the spectrum around a bit and see if you can dial it in to your preference. What are you spectrum are you running and at what intensity? Very easy to flip or change settings on the SKY using the app.

You mentioned pop. What sort of corals are you keeping and how large are they? Looking at the picture I don't see any colonies.

Personally speaking I run the coral growth setting for most of the day which is all channels at 100%. During the evening as it ramps down I throw it to ab+ for maybe 2 hours. Works for me but I'm not into the heavy blue spectrum.

TL; DR - have you tried other settings? If so and still undecided you can add a bar behind as noted or remove one SKY and add a pair of reef fi 2.0's in the middle for the blue look. SKY RFI SKY RFI SKY. Dial all of the lights down in intensity and as your corals mature you have plenty of PAR down the road. Should last you 5 to 7 years easy.
