HELP!!! Tank crashing.

Hi all.

I went away to west coast and my tank is now crashing. Autodosing calc and alk ESV Ionic stuff. Instead of adding a shot glass worth a day, alk added over half a gallon of over God knows how many days. It looks like the timer got stuck to on.

SPS are trashed.
46 gallon bow front. I only had enough for 16 gallon water change tonight.

Sucks, never had anything this bad.

Appreciate any suggestions.

What are the water chemistry parameters? I recommend a 50percent water change and retest.

With a dosing mishap WC's are your best and fastest friend. Get ready to frag any and all corals starting to STN. RTN'd ones are toast and should be removed quickly and running GAC/Carbon to help with allelopathy or Coral toxins released.

Thanks I have carbon i can run in my phosban reactor.
Haven't checked water parameters yet. too much panic So I am now doing water change...........
Sorry TJ i don't know what STN and RTN means.

Sorry man, it is lingo for Slow Tissue Necrosis and Rapid. RTN is almost immediate or in only hours or less while STN can be gotten ahead of sometimes.

Sorry to hear about the issue. If you need carbon or other supplies let me know...I'm around the corner from you.

The course had a miserable year due to conditions...but we have updated the irrigation and have some other things for 2015, hope to see you back there next year!

I had to go to work sigh.
My daughter went to pick up salt since i used up my last bit last night.
She called me on the phone and said 'I'm not gonna lie, its not looking good'.
I love my stupid clam. Had him since day one. Hope he makes it.
