I'm wondering if I create a "torch coral island" on a shallow flat rock at the bottom of my tank, how my clownfish pick which to host? Ie, if I grow three different torch corals together, do the clownfish get hosted by all three or just one in particular. And, on that note, I should probably ask if three torch corals can co-exist on a single rock together? I know this is a thing with hammer, so I assume something is similar with torch corals?

Lastly, to get quality flow to the torch, a set of Acans will get hit first by the flow. I wouldn't run the flow on super high anyway but even at medium flow, the acans will get it first so is medium strong flow for acans ok?

Thank you!

More then likely your clowns will not host the torch, especially if they're typical occelaris or percula. People have hard enough times getting their clowns to host anenomes.

Torches can coexist with each other, but not with other euphyllia. I keep hammers and froggies together, but torches I keep seperate. Torches will coexist just fine.

My acans like quite low flow. My torches love high flow. I would swap the positions, or if possible move the powerhead. Most of my torches also like fairly high light.

Thanks folks. I can swap positions if I can get the torch higher up in the tank (closer to my lights). Too bad on the hosting. I was considering a bta but far more concerned with stinging and aggressive multiplying.
