Hi everyone.have to ask marine fish keepers opinion to choose.i have nano tank 130 ltr with back side filtration, but is not good for me.i want to get rectangular tank for marines around 200-300 ltr .but the price to high for complete systems,so im looking for used.now have option to buy fluval roma 240 with external filtration.so need aditional skimmer and lights,or other tank fluval profile 1000 with external filter and skimmer.and other tank is aquaone reef 400.so perfect size for me is 120 cm length.and not too high for light penetration.as well as water changes less volume.can you tell you opinion about better choose.plan is fish, soft corals and lps.thanx

Personally I'd go with the largest tank you can afford. Larger growing fish need a lot of room to flourish. You can always take your time buying the hardware for the tank.

Tomorrow going to buy used aquaone reef 400 .hope will be fine.

craigslist or anywhere you can find a teardown tank is your best bet! I got a 90gal build with everything included (fish, corals, lights, filtration, sump, etc) for $900. We purchased a new stand and tank just for visual aesthetics for an extra $1000 or so! Just gotta keep an eye out for locals getting out of the hobby or upgraders and there are some nice DIY's out there for sumps or whatever you need!
