Looks like fry to me! What kind of fish do you think they are?

When I looked at the video a few more times, I wondered if they were shrimp... It's really hard to see if there are swimmerets...

I went frame by frame. Sometimes they look like shrimp and other times they look like fish. I looked up what a newly hatched clownfish looks like and it’s extremely similar

Can you net/siphon one out and put it in a small container of tank water?

Mysid shrimp. Shrimp shaped and surprisingly fast, they'll live a lot of places and colonies can last a while if there aren't predators around.

Young fish fry (at least of clowns) don't swim nearly that actively - they would need a ridiculous metabolism to maintain it.

Cool! The thing that threw me, I think, is they appear to be minnow-shaped with big eyes.

But I guess shrimp have eyes too... Lol
