It is tapered from head to tail and has black and white stripes. Almost looks like a snake. Its about 3/4 of an inch long and was eating debris off the live rock. It went back into the hole above it after I took the pic. Thanks.

Eunice? picture looks like it might have that band near the head that I've seen in every Eunice ive ever seen. but that is a guess.. cool critter.. cannot wait til I get my tank up and running!

Thanks guys. I looked at the link you posted. This thing does not have hairs on it like a Syllid. It almost looks like an arm from a brittle star. But it moves like a snake, and it has a discernible head.
