75 gallon reef with 20L Sump/Refugium

The growth is only in display and sump is clean. This stuff does blow off rock easily but clogs sock quickly.

Corals are doing great though! Running a carbon reactor and GFO in a bag.

It is a new set up, going into its 3rd month with dry rock.

Does it eventually die back? I'd rather not have to treat. Much rather have patience with the new tank.

It will in time. One of the first stages of the "uglies".

Did you cure your dry rock before placing in your DT? Or just placed it in there and added water?

Just added rock & water thinking I could cure in display. Added some cured rock from nano thinking it would help but the cured rock is in the fuge below.

The nano cracked in my move so had to rush a little more than I wanted.
