Hi everyone,
I knew getting a filefish would be a risk for nipping, but after he cleared my tank of aiptasia I am hesitant to take him out. He's nipping at a soft coral (Picture attached) but leaving everything else along, hammer, torch, clam and trumpet. Before I take him out and wait for the aiptasia to come back has anyone done anything even in the short term to keep the filefish away from certain coral? Maybe a small wire cage of some sort?
I don't remember the name of this coral but he is very closed up compared to usual and you can see a few bite marks. If anyone can help me with the name of the coral that would be great too.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
