My current lights are:
1 x 48'' BuildmyLed 20K
1 x 48'' BuildmyLed Super Actinic

My Tank is 150 gal (60" long)

I am going to add 4 x T5 bulbs to my lighting system, which bulbs should i go with?

2 Blue+
1 Coral+
1 Purple+

Nice blue look without the "hey look ma, it's Windex" look/

Hmmm, mostly SPS.......
The LED's will give all the blue you need.
So as you know I'm a Geisemann guy,( yes I have done ATI for a few years )
It's hard to suggest a color combo with LED's that I don't know of.
It also depends on what your primary light will be most of the time.
But what ever you do get a tropic daylight bulb in there, your SPS will thank you for it.

This.

What lights specially are you using?
They all have a signature color blend.
Do you know what kind of look you're going for?

And fwiw, Diesel is making me want to go back to t5 just to try that bulb.

I am using BML (buildmylight) brand 20K spectrum and Super Actinic both 48''

Look both at the ligh with your eyes and at the manufacturer spectrum chart.

Some 20k lean to royal blue (430-440nm, and some lean more to deep blue and some to aqua.

So adding a c+ to an aqua would look fine and add white and keep the aqua. Adding a blue plus to aqua leaning led would add more deep blue and make the aqua less apparent.

If you chose a t5 set that closely matched the led native color , it should be seamless blending and you can adjust the led to get minor tweaks.
If you chose t5 to add a color chose a complimentary color to move the color the direction you want it. Twards blue , green or reds.
That's the color mixing idea.

Now everyone wants to know my combo............

I already knew. Lol. It's bookmarked
I just want to see what that looks like in person.
That keeps a nice warm element to the light I belive, and doesn't pull blue at all.

We can mix "20k "(or any other ) several ways.

Tropic......... is the foundation of it all.

I stole yours as a basis and then have tweaked it to fit my own tank since then. I will say that I 100% support the tropic bulb. Its a game changer.

Talked to the guys of Giesemann over the summer and Boy my German sucks :p.............. oh and they told me new color scheme is on the horizon for three bulbs include a new Tropic.

The tropic 65k?

For the op, here's the reference you'll want on the tubes and led
IMG_0548.JPG

Note that it leans to the aqua and seen blue. Maintains a warm tone.
Has little in the higher ranges "royal blue"

By adding say a purple tube to the mix /blend and lean your tank to spectrum to the violet or royal range. Or Blue tube Etc etc
