Hey guys so I've heard tons of people say "oh you'll be able to tell if your corals aren't getting enough light". I've only been in the hobby 6mos so I don't really understand that. I'm only using one AI prime on a 20g long. Most people said it was not going to be enough light, but if anything I feel like my corals get too much light lol. I'm really not sure please help I'll post a pic of my schedule it's running at about 70% intensity. I'm scared to raise it lol please let me know what you guys think.

If you really want to know, you need to rent or buy a par meter. Your corals look fine. Hard to tell color though with those pics.

Colors look great right now and yea should I order it from BRS?

Looks ok to me. I think what they might have meant is that you're going to be a little thin on light at the edges. But with the pics I see...I'm jealous and wish I had your light troubles. :)
Thabk you! So are you saying I shouldn't raise the intensity??

Also wondering about flow...., I was told 1 DC powerhead wouldn't be enough for my tank do.you guys agree with that???

I would highly recommend the $70 investment if you really want to optimize your lighting.

We all make adjustments to meet new goals or compensate for coral growth or implement new equipment. I can't tell you to raise or lower intensity because my goals would be different. I can tell you I think your tank looks great. If you want to change...do it ever so gradually and monitor your coral response. A PAR meter can help you quantify those adjustments but not necessarily make it any easier or guarantee any successful changes.
