HELP. Torch coral

I woke up this morning and noticed that one of my fish has eatin most of a head on one of my torches. This has never happened is there anything I can or need to do? Thank you

It was a dwarf angle. I did not know it was not reef friendly till I did some research. I have already gave it away so hopefully it won't die
 
When fragging one you simply cut off a branch below the flesh with bone cutters. But in this case I wouldn't - I say leave it alone to see if it recovers.
 
Thank you. I will give it some time and see how it does. If it starts to jelly should I go ahead and remove it?
