HELP! Unknown critter in the acro

Hi Guys,

This morning, I found some whitish places here and there at the bottom of my acro.

I'm sure those are not natural texture of acro. It should be some sort of living thing or parasite. Does anyone know what they are and how to treat them? Luckily those are only one of my acros right now.

For the past two days, I was extremely busy and couldn't check my tank at all, but there was nothing there about a week ago. Also, there was absolutely nothing when I purchased this acro about a month ago. So it was developed in my tank.

I would appreciate any input. Thank you!

I think it's a coral barnacle - good guy, no worries.

They look like barnicles. If so, no big deal. They will probably die soon. They would probably not enjoy a Bayer dip if you want to kill them.

The white spots are concerning. Have you dipped this recently? They kinda look like AEFW bites, but not exactly.

I would dip it and let us know if anything comes off in a dip.

About a week ago, my daughter and I went to a beach and took a strawberry conch to our home. At the back of the strawberry conch, I found some barnacles. So I removed them. With my research, it could be barnacles, and that's why they were developed in a week after we took the strawberry conch.

Now, does anyone know how to kill them? Because they can spread to my other acros and I don't want it.

I don't have Bayer. I'm not sure if it's available in Japan. But I'll try to find one. Yes, the white spots are my concern.

I would try Aiptasia-X now. I know it's different, but maybe it could work. I'm not sure, but since Aiptasia-X doesn't affect my tank, I think I should try.

This is a self-reply. Putting Aiptasia-X would kill my coral. So I changed my mind. It may not be a good idea.

I dug it to remove them. Now it's completely gone.

Yes, I was so worried about it, but actually nothing came off. I dipped in Rvive coral cleaner dip, for 15 mins, but there was only mucus and only a little bit of dust. I really wonder what those white spots are.
