I woke up this morning to my tank being slightly cloudy as well as stringy slimy lookin stuff all over my corals and live rock.. Checked my parameters: nitrate:0 phosphate:0 calcium:450 dkh:8. Everything seems to be open and happy as usual, it's just covered in this slimy substance.. Any help on how to get rid of this stuff would be great!

I'm still figuring out coral placement and all so I've moved a few pieces but not much. I do water changes every 2 weeks, but more often if needed and I am due for on this week so it's been about 2 weeks on a water change. I thought it looked like coral slime, but there's so much of it I was worried. Thanks!

Doubtful, but anything is possible. How long have you had the corals? As long as they're not losing color, closing up, or dissolving... it's really not a big deal assuming they rebound.
Most was transferred from an old tank once the new one was completely cycled so they vary in how long I've had them. I participated in the last WWC live sale and won some stuff but that was the latest additions. Everything was thriving for a bit, then BOOM. Today my tank is a mess. I cleaned out what I could, so I'm not just hoping for the best. Thanks for you help.
