Help ! Update

On the 23 of Dec. I posted my fowlr tank had a leak and with the advice from btkrausen ( take it down and replace) twinspots_goby (trash cans, pumps and heaters ) and Murfman ( the water is heavier than the rock ) I took the tank down on the 23rd moved the wet gifts. My loving wife rewrapped the gifts and then helped moved rocks, water and fish. The 2 30gal trash cans held the rock and fish and we went on ****** list saw a 125 for sale, but that tank was not for a display tank, so off to the big box store for a BRAND NEW 125, new is nice. Then on the 24th got new background installed the tank put up and filled on Christmas eve just before friends came by to see our Christmas decorations and visit. All the fish survived so all is well and I would like to thank the forum members who responded with good advice it was needed. This is the tank now.

What is the purple thing w vase like structure in the lower right corner of the tank?

Tabasco1, that is a rare and seldom seen in captivity purple sponge ( Kallypilidion sp ) and found off the coast of _____ bay in the clearance waters ..............

Sorry could not pass that up, my wife found it online and I just looked for it but could only find it in orange. If you look up artificial sponge coral it is the first result.

I was wondering, but it was hard to tell from the pic. I have seen. Blue vase sponges that are sweet and I guess really difficult to keep.
