So like 2 days ago I purchased a dog faced puffer n within 2 days it turned out to have ich. I washed my tank with vinegar and boiled water and sea salt (not sure if tht would help lol) it has been empty since Monday because I gave the fish to my LFS where I purchased it.
I washed the HOB filter n the heater with boiled water, and I threw away the sponge tht was in the filter.
Question is after how long can I use the tank again because I was told to come back at the end of the week to see how the fish was doing. Since I wasn't too sure if it was ich or not n had no clue what to do I asked him to house it.
Being tht I have done more reading and with you guys here on this forum (which has been a great deal of help) I wanted to knw If I can put my puffer back in the 10 gallon or will the tank still have ich?
And if the tank still have ich can't I just start treating it with chloroquine phosphate while the fish is back in there to make sure it no longer has it as well as prazipo?
