So I’m helping a buddy setup a reefer 350 and I’m just not sure if he set it up correctly on the cabinet. The tank is flush on the back with the cabinet but when you open the front doors you can see the silicone tank line if off the mat/cabinet. He said it’s designed to be free floating but I just want to make sure before he starts putting in fish that it’s okay. He has had it up over a year(just been busy with work) so I know it’s not catastrophically off but I want to check with other Red Sea owners. I took a pic of the silicone lines/tank/cabinet. Let me know if this is correct or if we have to drain as much as we can to move it back a half inch so the silicone is on the mat? When the doors are closed everything looks perfect, I’m just concerned that it might be incorrect. Thank you for your insight Red Sea reefers! Rich

Hey! I have a Red Sea E-260 and it's the same set-up, mine is exactly the same. As long as the rear is flush with the stand it's fine.

Hi, yes it’s perfect flush with the back. I just wasn’t sure so I told my buddy I had to ask the forum. Did not want to risk anything. I put a level on the tank and it’s fine so I thought it was okay, but I just wanted to make sure. Appreciate the response!

For some reason, that is the design and normal. Its a nice series and he will be happy with the Red sea line

It is made to look like the tank is floating from the front. Small gap right along the front edge. Tank face should be Flush with the doors as you look at it though.

Its fine as previously described. I have 2 of them and both are like this - FYI - on mine (it might just be your picture) - it doesnt seem like it extends as far 'out' as yours does. But - the way it should be is that the front glass of the tank should be in the same plane as the doors underneath.

Hi, yes it is flush/even with the doors when closed. I kind of took the pic real quick and it’s at a angle, so looks further out. Thank you for you help, Rich
