Help w/ skimmer

I just bought a bunch of stuff from some guy on cl breaking his tank down. I have this big nice skimmer. I need to know what it's rated for? Any help would be appreciated.

Too lazy to go search online for this skimmer. LOL. But it looks like an older model reef octopus skimmer. From the looks of it probably rated for 80-100 gallons in that range

If you can find a gph label on the pump that should give you an idea of the skimmers capability.

The pump is rated for 1000lph max....what the heck does that mean to me? Please help

LPH (liter per hour) translate to gallons...... 264 gallons.
Assume the pump is old you probably get a little over 200 gallons.
What is the tank size you trying to run this skimmer?

The previous owner said he replaced the pump months ago. And he also gave me 2 additional impellers. It will be going on a 72 bow. Lightly stocked. The tank is just finishing its 5th week

I'm sorry, but that is one nasty looking skimmer. The vinegar should get it cleaned right up though.
