I need some help.
I have a large war coral favia (3"x4") that's been in my tank for about 3 months. The last month it has started to lose its brightness and the polyps have stopped coming out at night. I think it might be starving...
My 105gal tank parameters are pretty solid: sal = 1.026, temp = 78, ph = 8.1-8.2, alk = 8.7, cal = 400, mag = 1350, nitrates = 2.5. Run GFO in reactor so phosphates undetectable. I dose amino acids daily and add oyster feast, phyto, and artic pods regularly (every other day at night near circulation pump).
It seems that smaller favia and chalices are doing well. Most have their polyps extending some time during the night. All are located near bottom of tank. I have tried to locate it to a sheltered area in case the flow was too much. T5 + LED lighting located about 3" above tank water level but set to less than full power.
Any advice?
Thanks!!!

are they near any other coral that may sting it and stop it from reaching fully open try feeding and is it in a good lightning and flow spot?

No, I don't believe they were stung. They have always been somewhat isolated since the colony is fairly good size.

what about lighting and flow feeding and maybe try revive?

I dipped the colony in revive yesterday; I didn't notice any pests.
I then returned it to a place on the sand with even less flow. (It was in a place with low flow before. Now it's even more sheltered.)
Last night, I target fed my corals and noticed there still wasn't any polyps visible with the war coral ...
