Help? What are these? They are multiplying and have a hard shell.

Hard to tell in the pic but it seems like you are describing vermetid snails. They release a film that irritates corals. Break off the tips and cover with super glue. Also get some bumblebee snails.

Needle nose pliers. Break them off at the base or crazy glue the end of the tube.
