I turned on full lights today to inspect my tank and noticed these little white things on the rocks and walls of the aquarium. Anybody know what these are? Haven’t really seen them before.

Those are those glass sponges, harmless, and some say will "filter your water"

Move them to your fuge

Or discard them, or leave them

I can't remember the name just offhand. It will come to me
Pineapple sponges. Was what I was thinking.

Upon closer inspection, they look like shells of a sort

Pineapple sponges are pretty unmistakable. Some of these look very snail shell like. Just pull one out and get a better pic.

They are not spiraled, Do not look like spirobid worms
You sure? I can see clearly spiraled shells in the photo. Look up collonista snails as mentioned above, and see if they match.

Agreed with Collonista snails or close relative - CUC that reproduces freely (they may get into equipment too though, so some people report having to cover openings in their equipment to prevent issues that way).

Looks to be spirobid worms which feed off algae. I scrape off when I see them
