Just got some new corals in. I looked in the bag and I see these little things jumping around. They are really small and almost looks like a tiny tube worm outside the tube. It uses its feather part to shoot around the bag. They are too small and fast to take pics. What could this be?

I wish. This thing has a very thin worm like body and feathers on one side like a tube worm

Best pics I could get. Trying to upload the video now. In the pics some are floating around and other are attached to the plug

Disturbed feather dusters.
Poor things are missing their tube!
I get them in with my orders and they go in the tank.
But I think the fish eats them :(

I don't put anything in my tank that I don't know what it is. I follow the sacred ritual of dipping my corals before the enter the other side.

Yea did the Bayer dipping. Worked out well

My tank had a sudden outburst of feather dusters. Hate these ugly little things lol they are everywhere. Anybody know how to get rid of them. Wayyy too many to pick off

You could superglue their holes shut. Butterfly fish will make a quick meal of them. But are generally hit or miss on being reef safe and often difficult to feed.

Mine grow in my overflows only. As they are great filter feeders. Harmless.

Ugh i wish that was the only place mine grew. I wldnt mind them then but they r everywhere. In between my zoos and all over the rocks and the glass its ugly to lookaat
