Red and orange
The white I know is sand Goby makes a mess

An image with white light would be of assistance please.

Hard to tell if coralline or sponges. Lower the blues and raise the white and retake the shot until it looks like what your eyes see. Phone cameras are horrible with blue lighting.

The white is sand from the goby. Never again with fine sand. Just do not understand the reds

I'm out on this one....I'm red/green colored blind and only see white and blue.

Does it blow off if you get aggressive with a turkey baster?

Does it feel hard / soft / slimy?

Could be cynobacteria.

#reefsquad might have other insights.

Bruce,
From looking at post #5:

I'm going on a limb and saying cyano.

Does not blow or vacuum off
It’s funny in the white lights it green and when the Blue lights come on it’s red with orange blotches No3... 0.25 to .5
Po4.....05.

Possibly the beginnings of red turf algae?

It could be turf algae, or could be a form of coraline, given there are so many different strains....what's your feeding schedule like? How's your flow? And what's your water change schedule like? I've found the more that goes in and less that comes out(water changes) gives algae a good foothold. I've started to get sort of the same thing but it's almost like a brown color and for sure algae. Does yours come off with a toothbrush scrub? Or is it calcified/hard on the rock?

Water changes 50 gallons weekly . Plenty of water flow.
Trying Vibrant and No3 Po4 algae control. Just started yesterday. Will keep posting Thanks

Started No3Pox everything is turning into coralline algae
Haven’t received my Vibrant yet

Careful with nopox, watch closely, only bc I've noticed people say it caused bad things, algae, ect...it help lower my nitrates and got rid of algae and than I stopped dosing....But every tank is different! Post pics of before and after, very interested to see how it does go you man
