Help! What is this?

Can anyone tell me what this is? There are several growing on the back wall, and recently I noticed some on the live rock. I'm also having a hard time keeping turbo snails, they all die within a few weeks. Dont know if its related. Tank is 40 gal, 1.025 salinity, 450 ppm Ca, 10 kH, 1350 Mg, 0 nitrate/nitrite/ammonia, phosphate may be high but I dont trust the chemial test so maybe .25 or less ppm. Thank you!!

Have you ever seen webs coming out of the ends of the branches?

I haven't noticed any, but just to be sure I checked early this morning. With the lights off, and it still dark out, I used a strong flashlight to see if there were any webs coming from any of them. None seen.
