HELP!!! What's this stuff on my polyp

Looks like white hair on my starpolyp does anyone know what this is one if it's bad and if yes how do I get rid of it?

Maybe a sponge if it stops them from opening brush it with a new cheap tooth brush

Yeah I just brushed it off it looked like fungus. My tank parameters are good. You can tell by the rock my tanks getting purple algie I'm in my 7th week.
