HELP ! What's wrong with my Clownfish ?

I bought this clownfish from a LFS two weeks ago. He was doing great. Eating, active, fine until yesterday. Yesterday I noticed that he had what looked like some little red spots under his skin. Then today, it looks like those little red spots have turned black and are multiplying. Does anyone know what this is, and what I can do to help her ?

I got my clown from my brotherinlaws tank which was all fine once he came to my tank out of know where I saw he had a bunch of little black spots all over his body too. I have another clown with it but doesn't have those spots..they both eat like pigs and seems like the one with the spots is some what submitting to my other clown..but they look healthy and swimming fine

Are they still eating and active? Or did that change when the spots started to appear?

Does the fish have white stringy poo?

Possibly flukes, but will wait for the experts to chime in. Do you have a quarantine tank that you could remove them to for treatment?
The other thought is a bacterial infection.

I don't see black spots on him. They look more like the white has faded off in those spots. Can you do a freshwater dip on him? It's quick and easy. Freshwater Dip You'll want to look for flukes in the water.

Hi Everyone !
I purchased this fish as part of a pair. I was told that they were P1 Bali. When I first got them they were both bright white (where there is white on their bodies), with no spots, no blemishes, or signs of illness. They were both active, and eating well. Even eating the copepods off the glass. Then out of nowhere, the smaller male stopped eating, started having white stringy poop, and died on day 3 after purchase. After the smaller male died, I treated the entire DT with Prazipro.
The larger female seemed fine for a week or so, then the day before yesterday I noticed these red looking spots that appeared to be under her skin, and then on yesterday the spots got darker (almost black).
I moved her to a QT tank yesterday. Also dipped in fresh RO/DI water for 5 minutes and treated with MetroPlex thinking it might be bacterial. As of this morning, the spots are still there. She is however still active and eating, and her poop is brown (not white and stringy). I just don't know what these spots are, or what caused them, and I don't want to loose her.

White stringy poo is a sign of internal parasites.

You need to get the MetroPlex out of the water and treat with Prazipro.

I've seen at least one study where internal parasites cause a skin irritation that looks a lot like Black Ich. Fortunately, Prazipro will treat both the Black Ich and internal parasites so differentiating between them isn't necessary to get the treatment correct.

I believe this is what you are seeing.

No, she has not been going into an anemone. I do have one super small rose bubble tip, but she has completely ignored it. She is about 3 inches long, but the anemone is only about 2 inches around.

At one time, I was planning to get a manderin, and I seeded the tank with copepods. So now I have an enormous amount of copepods, and I noticed her eating them quite often when she was in the DT.

I doubt that. I think I would do the FW dip as @melypr1985 suggested to see if it has any impact on her condition.

Hi again Everyone. OK... so I did the fresh water dip again yesterday, but I didn't see anything fall off of her this time either, and there was nothing left in the container after I removed her.

She still looks the same, and she is still eating.
I have Gonipora, Zoas, Hammers, and one long tentative plate coral in the tank she came out of.
That's it. There was nothing else in there (other than the smaller male that died two weeks ago and was removed). But she didn't develope these spots until 2 days ago.

So to date I've done: PraziPro, MetroPlex, and Fresh Water Dip. Her poop is still brown and looks normal. Any other suggestions ?

Should I wait a day or so before giving her anything else since I just gave her the other meds, or is it OK to give her the Kanaplex + Metroplex right away ?
