HELP! Where's my water going!?!

If its an AGA tank... The overflow wall is adjsutable... If you have it were the middlle coms are showing that may be too high. Close it (push the overflow down) so ur water level will rise and now go over the top comb.

WesF... thanks for the education... always apprecaite it. Maybe i didnt explain it right.
 
Another update:

My return pump is falling asleep on the job. I explained the problem to Danner Manufacturing and they are shipping me out a new impeller. I have yet to open it up and see how bad any damage is at the moment but I will update again with info.

With this Marineland tank there's no way to seal off the middle intake sans literally siliconing the grill shut (not gonna happen).

Final update:

I feel like a rookie.

I took my return pump apart, and the impeller wasn't obviously damaged. I rinsed some gunk off and I made sure to seat it in the housing and cover. I turned it on and viola! It was back in action.

Problem resolved, overflow is back in action!
