Help!! Which one should i choose!

Setting up my 60 gallon display with 29 gallon sump. Tank is 48x18x18.
Need help picking a return pump.

One is the Jebao DCT-4000 - has a max gph of 1056 with a max of 9.8ft of head pressure.

The other is the Jebao DCP-5000 - max gph of 1450 and max head of 13ft.

Which one is best for the tank in setting up? There is only a $20 difference in price.

Both are fine. They are both variable.
If you know you'll be running a manifold or rectors or chiller off of the return or want to be able to , get the larger one.

I would tend toward the 4000. I have one in my tank. 55g w 30 sump Approx 60 gallon total water volume. And the 4000 at full is almost to much. I have only one approx 3 ft line from the pump to the tank.

I run at about 60%.

I have the 4000. Dead quiet. So quiet I can hear the overflow.

I forget the spec on both the 5000 may be larger but I think it's a different impeller.
And it's a jebao. It's got like nine names world wide.
Give me a bit and I'll find my eBay seller in Orange County CA. If you like. Fast easy returns for Doa usually the lowest prices on jebao stuff.

Yup keep an eye both if it not a rush. Sometimes the price plummets for no reason on one or the other. My two dosers are a three stage and two stage. one was 58 and the other was 63.
