Hey guys!

Need some help. All of the sudden my filter socks keep getting clogged twice a day. I use to be able to go 3-4 days without changing them...what in the world is going on? I noticed some clumps of white stringy / slimy stuff in my sump and even worse in the back compartment of my tank. The only thing that has changed is I put my NOPOX on a dosing pump. Before I did it manually but pretty much the same amount only difference is now its spread out throughout the day.

With the sock clogging so often my ATO keeps dumping RO so it’s cause SG issues on top of everything else. Fish seem fine...softies and LPS look a little agitated probably due to SG issues.

All parameters stay pretty flat as I dose with dosing pumps just Ca and KH and just started NOPOX as stated above.

All my parms are stable
Salt - 33.8
Temp - 79.8
PH - 8
Am - 0
Kh- 9.4
Ca - 420
Nitrate - 0
Po- 0

Preparing to do a 20% water change now. Any help is appreciated!

Thats a bacterial floc commonly caused by carbon dosing. I havent personally experienced it with the brand I was dosing with but have heard that reducing the carbon dosing a little may help.
