Help with 2 part dosing (trident resting)

Ok guys, what the heck is going on. I hooked up my trident a week ago, and calibrated it last night. My Alk has been dropping the whole week. I started at 30ml a day of Alk and ca. I have since been raising the Alk and am up to 45ml a day and still dropping. Should I be raising the Ca equally? Would by raising the ca dose also help the Alk? I am dosing ESV 2part, and doing 1.5 gal a day AWC. I just checked with my Hanna and came up 8.0 and 8.1 (I did 2 tests). I then used the Hanna to check my trident calibration fluid....it’s 8.35 on the label and Hanna read it as 8.6.

So if that’s the case my Hanna is reading .25 higher than is actual....correct?

My AWC water alk is 11.2 (reef crystals)
I have calibrated the DOS pump
I’m lost.....ideas? Thanks

It looks like you are just not dosing enough alk. Am I missing something else? You need not dose both products equally, but equal dosing will generally balance calcium pretty well. The calcium dosing is not cause any alk changes up or down.

The ESV says to dose equal parts...but by doing that I have gotten way out of wack. I have turned off calcium dosing completely til it gets down in the 440-450 range then I plan to start dosing again, just at a reduced amount. I have increased the Alk dose slightly to bring it up slowly. Thanks for the advice.
On a side note, what would cause significantly more Alk uptake than ca?
