Help with a mystery guest

Noticed this odd item hanging under my coral, came back 10 minutes later and it was gone, any idea what this is? Should I be worried?

Ah, it looks like you *may* have a colorful Cowrie (or related genera) snail of some sort. What you are seeing is the fleshy mantle and the color peaking out down the middle is the actual snail shell underneath. To get an ID you'll need to get it to go back into it's shell.

If you can't ID it, then observe it's behavior. If you see it cruises all over on the glass, then it's likely algae grazing. If you notice parts of coral consumed/missing, then this would be the #1 suspect.

Looks like an Asterina sea star arm to me.

Looks like whatever it was burrowed under the coral so is dipping the best solution at this point? Although I only saw the 1 how likely is it that there are more hiding? I'll keep checking every night and in the morning before the lights come on.
