Right now I have a 125 gallon that has no canopy.

It is 6 foot long.

I have three reefbreeder LEDs above the tank, hanging from the wall off L brackets.

What would be the easiest way, and what type of lights would you recommend for stricly adding color to the tank.

There is an old pic, set up similar, just now its installed cleaner, with a blue backer on the tank. So don't knock it:P

If your just wanting color, go with the VHO Actinic set up. Hamilton sells one, and you could hang it right next to your exsisting lights.

Why do you need supplemental lighting with leds? Do the not have enough blue in them ?

Do you have just the blue/white LEDS or the full spectrum? I added more LED colors to mine and still do not get the Actinic "POP" like my T5s ran along with my MH setup on an old tank. I have thought about adding T5s to my LEDs also but without a canopy I can not make it look clean.
