Hello!
I just purchased two slightly used AI Prime HD lights. They power on fine. function fine with button presses, and seemingly connect to my network ok as the lights go solid green. However, I'm having some difficulty when it comes to the app/website.
In the app whenever it searches for the lights, despite being on the same network it can never find them and asks for the IP address directly.
As for the website. The first light I did successfully connected to my wifi and the page automatically refreshed. Once it did I was able to adjust it etc as well as find it's IP address and add it to the app. However, it seems that is not a permanent solution as after a while I had to re-enter the IP address into the app.
As for the other light, it will also connect to the wifi successfully. However, the page does not refresh and I cannot access the page via primehd-xxxxxxxxxxxx.local for it or the other light despite being on the same network.
I understand I could go to my dhcp management of my router, assign them static IPs, commit those to memory and be done with it. However, it feels like I may be missing something?
Full disclosure. I have two ReefLED90s on my redsea right next to my 10 gallon which will house one of these lights. Is it possible they are causing interference? Has anyone else been on the verge of pulling your hair out due to these things?
