So I have a peninsula mini 25 and I have had some issues with water levels on this tank.
I do 2 lite feedings a day as I only have 2 fish but I feel like my filter pad gets clogged every second day at the latest
Also the display never stays were I want it, right under the water box logo just over the word aquariums I fill it to that after every water change and it drops back down a day later and the return chamber seems higher then It should I can’t get it to drop any lower.
How does everyone have there back chambers set up for filtration and equipment on there AIO’s id like to see some pics and a run down.
currently I swapped out the filter sock for a egg crate media basket in the first chamber running filter pad on top then carbon then marine pure bio balls. I left the ledges for the filter sock holder incase I ever wanted to switch back.
Second chamber I have a layer of the same bio balls then my heater and temp and apex probes ( very messy I still need a probe holder lol)
3rd chamber I am running ATO and a single dosing line and return pump (mighty jet) as well as my conductivity probe I can’t get calibrated (that’s another post on its own lol it’s currently resting in the chamber offline.)
I had a skimmer (Bubble magus QQ2) in the middle chamber but it took up so much room I didn’t like it so I took it out it didn’t seem to run that great either.
I might go with a hang on back style skimmer to save on room if I decide to get another skimmer.
