Hi, I’ve got a friend wanting me to take care of his tank and get it back to crystal clear. He’s having a terrible time with algae. I’m going to leave pictures of the tank. He said he does water changes every week. I checked his water and it all checks out. Nitrates were zero. He did have a higher salinity than I would like it so I recommend him lowering it. He has no rock in the tank I told him the rock could help maybe break things down better. He runs his light 12 hours and he has a bio cube. I’ve personally never liked bio cubes but everyone has there own opinions. I recommend to him that he try to lower light cycles to 10 hours to try and combat the algae. He basically wants to pay me to take care of it but it could be a variety of things of what’s causing the algae blooms. If anyone has recommendations for a solution to make his tank clear again let me know. I honestly think a lot of it is because of the light he has on the tank. It shows a ton of white spectrum and very very little blue spectrum. Here’s pictures of tank!
