I've had quite a few btas for a while now and I even had one split, but recently it seems like they are all physically shrinking in size. Even after they expel water and open back up they seem smaller. I am not sure if they are dying, not getting enough nutrients or what? Any ideas? Maybe feed more? Will try to get some pics after work and test water.

Need more information to actually help. Lighting, age of tank, and parameters. However your anemones probably split as a last ditch survival tactic.

120G tank, Kessil lights on a regular schedule that ramp up, Tank is about 10 months old. I will try to get parameters later. I do not dose anything though. about 15% water change weekly. I run a skimmer 24/7 considering putting that on a timer, also have big ball of chaeto that grows like crazy. First saltwater tank. was battling gha algae for longest time and I finally got it down naturally.

Which salt mix are you using? I only ask since you mentioned you aren't dosing, and over the long haul you could see your alk/ca/mg levels come down as a result. Testing is probably an important task to get done at this point. Also, if GHA has been exhausted it is possibly a sign that your nutrients are getting really low, overly so possibly (not that loosing the GHA was a bad thing! :)

I use IO reef crystals. The battle with the gha seemed to be overfeeding and not a good enough fuge light to outcompete the kessils above. Yeah I really wish I could just leave work now and test lol. Got a lot to do tonight so hopefully I can squeeze it in and not find anything surprising. I feel like it just a lack of feeding, because I did slack off for a few weeks there, which was part of the reason the gha came back I think. What is generally the first think people need to dose? alk and cal?
