help with api cal test kit

i just got a calcium test kit from api and either my calcium is crazy low (possible) but i only have 3 corals. is it just when it turns pink that you stop the drops or is there a shade of pink that i need to hit?

I believe the calcium test for API is supposed to turn blue for the end point

I think pink is the start color and blue should be the end color

Yeah blue is the end color. Keep adding drops one at a time until it turns blue. (Put cap on and flip between drops)

The info it came with said it would turn blue but had a picture of a purple square on it.

It's a very clear transition to the purple/blue color. You can't miss it

About 300 so yeah it's low if that's right.

It's 20mg/L per drop, so that's about 300 mg/L IIRC.
