Hi guys, I have a naso of above 10months since january. When i bought it, i didnt see the white spots on him until i placed it in my tank. From january til now, it had some white spots on him that looks like pimple and curve inwards. However, it was eating fine until today. When i tried feeding it, it didnt accept the pellets, brine shrimp and seaweed. I also noticed the fins is bitten. No idea who bit it. I had two other fishes in the tank, Vlaminggi and blue tang. I only have copper ( cupramine) with me. Could i treat it with that? I tried doing so last time but it didnt work.

Does the fish have any symptoms - scratching, etc? This could be ich - or it could be mucus plugs. The fin is likely an injury from another fish. Please see the link posted by @Jekyl above

These are mucus cones with ich mixed in and fish will need to be quarantined and treated with coppersafe for full 30 days at 2.25 copper level with added aeration provided

Does cupramine work with this?
If so how often should i do a water change on the quarantined fish?
If i move it into a quarantine tank, i dont know when will it start eating.

Yes but do NOT exceed treatment level 0.5 and monitor levels with a reliable copper test kit

Unfortunately, it passed this morning. It has like tiny curved ins on the whole body. Dont know what it is.

The naso is thin and has some fin damage - what was it kept in with?

I don't know what those lesions are exactly, I thought mucus plugs at fish, but fish don't outright die from those.

We've been having some sidebar discussions about blonde nasos - they have not been very sturdy lately, lots of people are losing them for no apparent reason.

The naso is quite fat actually. The bottom part curves inwards all the time, whenever it is full or not. The naso was kept in a 300 gallon fowlr tank with a blue tang and a vlamingii tang. I think the fin damage is when the fish is dead the others pick on him.
