Long story short. Took down 180g tank got redsae 250 tank. use 1/2 the rock from the old tank in the redsea set aside the rest. When I set up the redsea tank I got the wrong sand really fine live sand and it was killing everything, it was coating corals and rock work just flying around the tank. So I took everything out cleaned the tank and use the rock I had set aside after curing it for about 4 weeks and got new sand so it's kinda like I started over fresh new water new rock new sand. But now i got this brown stuff all over I cant get rid of it. So how do I get rid of it. Or will it go over time. I run zeovit system. Po4 .009 alk 7.2 cal 420 mag 1200 where my last readings

Evening,

Sorry about the troubles. My first thought diatoms from new sand. The grass/hair make me think maybe brown hair algae. Is It disappearing at night or not. If not I’m guessing algae. Also, does it blow of easy or anchored in place?

I’m not familiar with Zeovit systems so not sure if it could be some type of bacteria. See if anyone around tonight has run into this
