Hi guys,

My BTA has been like this for the last couple days. He has been stuck behind a rock and seemed to be doing okay until recently. I found him like this a couple days ago. It looks like he might be hanging over, not strong enough to correct himself. I’ve tried feeding him with raw shrimp, mysis shrimp, and even flakes. He doesn’t respond to anything.

My water stats are okay. No ammonia spike, nitrates and nitrites are in check, salinity is 1.025, PH and Hardness are good as well.

Any ideas what is going on here?

Thanks!

It is obviously stressed and I am going to refer this to someone for input but also, you want to provide a balance of blue and white lighting a little heavier on the blue. Flow is also important and as i always say" provide moderate light and water flow". Dont blast them.
Water quality again is important. What you have could be as simple as too high or low salinity. Test your water and hopefully you have reliable test equipment.
Focus on salinity, ph, temp and Mag

Temp range 77-79
Ph 8.1-8.3
Salinity 1.025
Mag 1300-1350
