ok..... ithink i figured out why my chalices were receeding....it was due to covering them while they eat so the fish and crabs dont eat the mysis before the chalices had a chance to eat....too mant nuitriance i guess.... well anyhow... now that i got it figured out what else can i do for them to speed up their recovery???? besides keeping them out of direct light..... should i keep dipping them in Lugol's solution for awhile.... if so how often?? any kind of help would be really nice...they have seemed to of stoped receeding (i think)

I dont think dipping them will make it better but only stress them out more.. Try to feed it and watch it on a daily basis.. I have some that receeded but I keep moving it till I find the right spot. Good luck

+1 people always stay dipping there stuff when they see a sign of recession this is not or maybe even never the cure IMO...

I'd just leave them in moderate flow and light and don't move them around. Some of mine stress just from trying to adjust them to different positions in the tank. They do a LOT better when I just leave them alone.
